Enjoy this Holiday version of "Would You Rather" Dating Game for Singles.  This first installment is for Halloween.  Come back soon to check out more of this game for other holidays and other unique and fun dating games...

"Would You Rather" is a fun dating game of questions that can help you get to know someone.  It can be played with two or more players.

One person asks a question with either two good choices or two bad choices. Each person, including the questioner, must answer the question, so both (or all) players of the game get to know each other. One, and only one, choice must be answered, by each person, to every question.

A very important part of the game, to really get to know each other, is each person must state the reason for their answer. It is essential that each of you tell WHY you made the choice you did. Discussions about those choices can be both informative and entertaining!

Never assume you understand a person, solely based on their answer to a question.  For instance, if a person is asked, "Would you rather run 25 yards through a garden of snakes or spend an hour in a haunted house?" and chooses "spend an hour in a haunted house," you might assume they don't believe in ghosts, so spending an hour in a haunted house would be a breeze.  But, you could be wrong!  The person might fully believe in ghosts, but has a deadly fear of snakes, so even an encounter with an evil spirit would be less scary to that person than a slithering snake. Maybe their belief in ghosts is so strong, they've thought about meeting ghosts every day!  So, you would be VERY wrong in your assumption that they don't believe in ghosts!!

Dating Don't: DON'T Assume!

Following are a few ideas for some Halloween Would You Rather questions.  Also, you and everyone playing should think of some of your own, because part of the fun is the creativity of coming up with the questions and even discussing why you asked them!

Would you rather:
Stay awake watching a 24-hour movie about a zombie apocalypse
OR
Conduct a 5-minute, one-person play, in front of a kindergarten class, portraying all the characters in "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"

Would you rather:
Eat 3 pounds of candy corn in one sitting
OR
Eat 3 grub worms

Would you rather:
Fly on a witches broom wherever, whenever you want for the rest of your life
OR
Have eternal life as a vampire without the power of flight (you only drink the blood of the dead, not the living)

Would you rather:
Spend 1 minute in a sealed casket
OR
Spend 5 minutes with tarantulas crawling all over you (you are wearing clothes)

Would you rather:
Own a haunted house selling $10/person tickets to 1,000 people a day 100 days a year (it is your only residence)
OR
Live in a private mansion with enough money to cover all your necessary living expenses, but you must kiss a frog every day at noon, even if you are in public at the time
