All the following dating advice is good for both singles and married couples, because even if you are married, it is important to continue to date your spouse to keep the marriage alive!

GREAT IDEAS FOR THE PERFECT DATE:

1.  Enjoy Nature's Beauty

If you live in a beautiful area, get out and experience the scenery together.  Go for a leisurely walk holding hands or maybe have a picnic while you enjoy the view.  Beautiful scenery always enhances a date.

2.  Laugh

Scientific research and survey polls have shown that experiencing laughter on a date can make your date feel more positive about you.  It's based on attribution theory.  If you take your date to a venue that offers a fun time, and your date is laughing during the date, they may very well attribute their happiness to you and not to the venue.  In other words, your date will think YOU make them happy.  So, find something fun to do on your date.  Maybe go to a comedy club, play with some puppies, or have fun on a slide, swing, and teeter-totter!

3. Go Someplace Exciting

Go on some carnival rides.  Go water or snow skiing.  Do most anything you both enjoy that will get your heart pumping and your endorphins charged.  Your date is likely to attribute an adrenaline rush to feelings of attraction toward you!  Be forewarned, however, before you take your date repelling down a steep mountain, find out if they're afraid of heights!  Make sure you give them an experience they will definitely enjoy, or their negative emotions could also be attributed to you!

These tips are great ways to jump-start a relationship, but remember, even if you've been together 30 years, and feel you are one with each other, you still need to work at it.  Without continued effort, relationships can become stale when you know each other so well, and attraction can wane, so make sure your partner keeps attributing positive experiences to YOU!
